PC Lustrall - 6040 , crafted to European standards, is a specialized carbonaceous additive for greensand casting. When exposed to molten metal, it swells to form a carbon layer on sand grains, filling gaps and absorbing thermal stress. This helps stabilize the mold, reducing defects and delivering smooth, high-quality finishes.

PC Lustrall - HC
PC Lustrall - HC, developed with European Sea Coal standards, is a high-performance carbonaceous additive with 38-45% volatile matter (VM) and a maximum of 7.5% ash. Upon contact with hot metal, it swells and forms a thin, adhesive carbon film on sand grains, filling spaces between grains to accommodate thermal stress and prevent expansion defects. This plasticized bonding provides a stable mold surface, reducing risks of casting flaws and delivering superior finishes.
